So I've been running JJ34's in my BE Modded SL for 3 years now. I haven't been digging the tone for a while and I've been wanting to change things up.
Typically, I've used Svetlana and Winged C's in the past but I've heard they don't jive in Friedman amps. What I'm looking for is to darken...
It varies depending on mood.
Typical:
Presence 5
Bass 7
Mids 7 1/2
Treble 6
Gain 8
SAT On
BE Mode
100W
Alt:
Presence 4 1/2
Bass 8
Mids 6
Treble 7
BE Mode
Gain 6
SAT On
100W
I've waited so long for this damn pedal and finally my girlfriend got me one for Christmas!
I spent a couple hours with it and fell in love with it. I only had a chance to try it once at a shop but I was hooked then.
I've waited a long time to buy one of these ST's!
I want to swap out some parts and definitely the pickups. The neck is awesome and it's kind of light surprisingly.
So for the past year I've slowed down my playing and changed things up a bit. Worked a lot of right hand technique among others things.
Now I want to branch out and do things differently.
Looking to improve the following:
Staccato
Arpeggios
Harmonic Minor etc.
What do you guys use for...

If you and Rupe didn't tell me to work on my right hand technique and slow down, I wouldn't be the player I am today.
People are afraid of being blunt and direct.
Thanks guys!
It plays so frigging well. Needs a little TLC but I have a real Lester already. I'm doing a logo, and I'm gonna convert the neck as well. It sustains nicely too.
