Best Mick Mars tone ever!! Really sounds great.

Maybe 7-ish but it is really hard to say. The BE had more gain than I ever needed. The DS just sounds so different.... The DS has plenty of gain and with TS type pedal it can get near the BE but just different sounding. You really need to play one. That probably didn't help you......sorry.

I don't think either can do the other. I like the DS the best.....it has this chewy sag that you don't get from the stiffer big brothers. Get the Shirley in addition to your BE

I do see another knob in the pic....sorta between and below the gain and the master. Maybe it's just a weird shadow....the pic is dark.

Anyone try a Lynchback in the combo yet?

I have a few sets to include 2nd Degree's and Hot Heads and Afwayu. All are in LP's, I think I like the Hot Heads the most but I really like the openness and clarity of the 2nd degree's. The Hot Heads are a bit more compressed but still very "woody" I would like to try a T-wreck

Does anyone have any experience with both? I have been using the Aldrich for sometime and was contemplating making the change in the bridge of a Les Paul. Is the Dimarzio "darker" or does it have more mids?

How is the low end thump? Most EL84 amps seem to lack the thump of larger glass.

I believe to the "left" is off and switched to the "right" is on.
