I’ve been using the Stew Mac version for decades. Works great. Have you checked the height of those 2 strings at the nut? If they’re higher, they’ll go sharp when fretted

No way to tell listening through an iPad or phone as they affect the sound. What I will say is when I’m in a room with miked cabinet thru a monitor vs an ox box, it’s clear as day.

I use the regular 2 knob MXR flanger and it does what it needs to do. Those bigger ones are just too…well, big.

I have 2 Splawn 2x12’s that sound really good. I use them for gigs when one of 4x12’s would be overkill

My ‘82 2204 does that thing at 4 1/2. I use a Fryette PS to bring it down and add effects. Makes it completely giggable.

He’s a fine player no doubt. But I have no interest in a zappacaster.

Not knocking his amps. I’ve owned one for a decade. Point is when it comes to a players preference in gear, pickups, strings, pedals, etc it’s nice to put a playing style/tone with it.
