I'm certainly one of them who's been saying they should do this but other old cranky bastards on here insist that why should Marshall do it since we already have the JVM blah blah suck suck slobber slobber swallow.....
If this really is a tease of what we are all hoping for then I say FUCKING...
That's all I wanted to hear.
Honestly my post was a troll post but not really. I'll explain.
First though, thank you for being an asset to our forum dude. You are very likeable, post great content and just seem like a great guy who has valuable knowledge in gear in general. Thank you for...
Yezzir. In fact I posted on your thread of it that it is the best 5153 amp sim out there. Their amp sim of the Rev G is cool but to me it doesn't sound as good or accurate as the STL Rev G. I do welcome the 1 Meg pot mod Mercuriall added to theirs. Stuff like that is what interests me anymore on...
Brutal!!
That one has been my go to recto sim since its release years ago. Its the most accurate G sim out there IMO. Sounds crushing and just like my real Rev G. I like this new Rev F sim a little better I gotta say. It feels more realistic to me. I think you'll dig it.
It's so funny you made this thread. I had no idea this existed until I was looking up ProTone pedals to get another look at the Dino sig pedal and it redirects you to Wavemind's page with emulations of all the PT line as well as the Rev F. I demo'd it and bought it after less than 10 mins of...
That's how I've been hearing it too. Reminds me of the MKV where it has those nasal mids you can't scoop out even when 750 is bottomed out. Its weird because the MKVII isn't like that so why not model the GEQ off of that?
Question; do you ever use amp sim plugins? If so, look into Herbert and VH4 amp sims. There are a few of them available that sound and feel like the real thing. You'll save a ton of money and space.
I was sold on an all in one Diezel amp collection with the VHX but it fell short of my...
There's 100% a big difference. I've owned and played Diezel FL/RL and VHT FL/RL cabs side by side (not all at once). The RL is way bigger sounding every time IME. It fills the room much better. The FL is a straight punch to the body. Way more clarity but directional sounding at the same time...
That could be a bad pot. I've had that exact problem with 2 other amps in my lifetime. 1st time I changed all my pre tubes and nothing. Finally took it to a tech and it was a bad pot. 2nd time it happened to me on a different amp, learned from the first time and I went straight ahead and did a...
My favorite is when someone goes to the extreme of saying the Rev A is trash.
My second favorite is when they say R2 channel is trash.
The difference between A and B comes down to preference period.
Most people play R2 in full power mode, which I admit is sort of bland sounding especially...
Early 2000's before the Uberschall was ever released. I only remember that because I also read supposedly that MC is responsible for a lot of the tone and character of the prototype Uber.
Mind you, this is stuff I read so don't take my word for it. I've tried to confirm it with Bogner back in...
I think I read on HC and RT that he was stealing parts and using them for his own designs on the side or something like that. It involved being a thief.
