Side markers are for playing, and board inlays are for decoration.
Most of my boards are blank. I have a few with cool inlays and one with regular dots.
Yep those were always standard back in the day. I purchased V30s several times spanning different box looks too, and they always had the gaskets in quarters just like the photo above.
Yeah this topic came up awhile back also. Seems that they had quit including them for some time and/or with some models.
Back in the day, at least until the mid-2010's era they always had them in every new-boxed Celestion that I ever received.
If you're lucky the extra included rear-gaskets (for front-loading) are not needed, because hopefully you have the much more desired and better sounding rear-loaded cab.
Series2 singles and rectoverbs can still be had for good prices. For recording and/or home use they are perfect, and so easy to access all the tube slots for comparing/rolling.
I've been quite happy with models from both brands, at least once they've found the right host. Many times I've picked wrong and then eventually found the right host. That has mostly been with pickup models for which it was my first time trying it.
