    For the Death Fans

Watched this doc awhile back. I really enjoyed it, especially the early years stuff.

    Unmarked fretboards are king

Side markers are for playing, and board inlays are for decoration. Most of my boards are blank. I have a few with cool inlays and one with regular dots.

Foam pieces that come with celestion speakers??

Not sure, but they are definitely thicker and feel different so you might well be right.

Foam pieces that come with celestion speakers??

They are really thin too ...cheapskates. They should give you gaskets that are the same thickness as the factory gaskets on the front side of the rim.

Foam pieces that come with celestion speakers??

Yep those were always standard back in the day. I purchased V30s several times spanning different box looks too, and they always had the gaskets in quarters just like the photo above.

Foam pieces that come with celestion speakers??

Yeah this topic came up awhile back also. Seems that they had quit including them for some time and/or with some models. Back in the day, at least until the mid-2010's era they always had them in every new-boxed Celestion that I ever received.

Foam pieces that come with celestion speakers??

If you're lucky the extra included rear-gaskets (for front-loading) are not needed, because hopefully you have the much more desired and better sounding rear-loaded cab.

Death Scresm Bloody Gore : the first ?!

IMO Venom is the root-band for thrash, death, and black metal. I like SBG for the first complete death metal album.

    Mesa Rectoverb 6L6 vs EL34

In direct comparisons I usually pick 34s, but in the room with me playing I always chose 6L6 because of the wider spread and stronger lows.

    Probably buying a Mesa Badlander 50 head......should I???

Series2 singles and rectoverbs can still be had for good prices. For recording and/or home use they are perfect, and so easy to access all the tube slots for comparing/rolling.

Bark at Moon Vs Ultimate Sin

Bark definitely has some fillers, so I'm going with TUS. I sure love a few off of Bark though,,,, especially Now You See It.

    Rocky George appreciation

HWILTWICEST is still one of my favorite thrash albums of all time. Surf And Slam solos give me goosebumps!

One thing Ive noticed about Seymour Duncan>Dimarzios.......

I've been quite happy with models from both brands, at least once they've found the right host. Many times I've picked wrong and then eventually found the right host. That has mostly been with pickup models for which it was my first time trying it.
