Was gonna say this too, I have 3 guitars with this pickup and they aren’t overly bright, two of them being swamp ash even. Be curious to know what amp you’re playing them through
I think if you custom order he will do whatever, I’ve seen a few of his guitars go out that have no aging to them, but most of the stuff he does is all relic’s/aged. I have 3 and they have textured finishes but no relicing, I’m not a fan of that style really
Agree here 1000%, I’ve owned a lot of nice guitars and with the attention to detail Jerry has its hard to beat, plus the broken in feel you get with his necks beat a lot of other guitar makers for playability. Luxxtone has my vote here.
