In all seriousness there is no law that actually requires the item you are selling to be certified by UL because that would be illegal, as I mentioned take a look at any amp manufacturers back faceplate, let me know who has a UL logo on their product. Now for exporting items to Europe you have...
OMG!!!!! MY MESAS DON"T HAVE A UL LOGO!!!!! THE FIRE!!!THE PAIN!!!!!
Luckily I was able to throw the smoldering hulks of those amps away last minute thanks to AMP KARENS telling me they needed that logo or I was literally sentenced to death.
Just wanted to update this thread for the amp Karen's, if you don't see a UL logo on the back of your favorite amp manufacturer's products please report them immediately to this E-mail:

Ground issue has been resolved and will be explained to customers(initial self-subsidized researchers) before "research". Trust me the first "transactions" will not be public and by word of mouth thanks to "Amp Karens" hoping to report UL violations even though some of the biggest amp makers...
Just wanted to give everyone an update, these would have been already out on the market but first due to Covid, the manufacturer that was making the cases which are "high quality" was unable to work on our stuff (they are here in the Bay Area no Wuhan) till and recently and just when we were...
It is up to the seller to be vigilant and keep in mind that they ALWAYS deny the first claim, request and appeal with pics and paperwork any local music store should help you out with a letter stating the item shipped is what the manufacturer uses or better. If that fails then the seller should...
I've had a few weirdo gear stalkers writing down the serial numbers of guitars and then when I went to sell them they accuse me of buying it for x amount off some website I had never used or off some foreign website six months to a year ago. Reality was I got it in a trade recently and paid no...
UPS will ALWAYS deny your first claim, you have to appeal it and get another music store/business to write a letter stating the packaging you used was exactly what the manufacturer uses or better. If the claim is denied by appeal you will have to file a small claims court case in your county...
These are cool videos but I always wish people would go all out with the actual gear because when you start "substituting" lots of gear the was never there then the tone is like the other poster said "in the ballpark" but not a home run.
Not trying to hate in fact I am now subscribing.
Are you asking him multiple questions in one message or are you asking him one question at a time, requesting pics and or clips over a series of a day or two? There is a difference, just curious?
Just had more wasted time with long list of questions and requests of clips and pics on top of a very thorough ad. Guess who bought? It was the guy not requesting all the additional stuff.
Brand new Jose High Low Gain mod done by Mark, warrantied by me for one year, limited lifetime warranty.
This was a custom amp done for a customer who backed out since we don't require deposits we put them up for sale when this happens and it's pretty rare.
This is a new version of the Jose...
I have had a listing or two that had been up six months or more and I literally had a guy checking in with me every month stating he was serious and giving me an update on his financial situation including gear he was moving to buy my gear etc. To this day he has still not bought the item. I am...
Rules don't apply to cool guys.
Honestly you're probably the exception to the rule but it sounds like the seller may not have provided enough info and pics so what you asked was clearly not out of line.
I really hope this takes off and with the Etsy Reverb buyout and Reverb getting rid of the phone support and upping fees this is the time to capitalize on their poor business strategy. I either see Ebay reabsorbing the lost Reverb customers or another, hopefully your service picking up the slack.
