To be honest, it didn't matter if the EQ was in front of the amp, or in the fx loop (for eq'ing) If someone wanted to use it for a solo boost, it definitely needs to be in a loop, but all my Splawns have the best solo boost feature already. I'd just experiment and see what works best for...
