Exactly what I was thinking. I was shocked when I got my LTD/Lynch “Desert Eagle”, as the fingerboard is black, even though it’s macassar ebony. I was hoping for a dark brown with striping. :LOL:

Steve Stevens, with Billy Idol, a few months back, was using his signature Friedman amp. Paul Gilbert, with Mr.Big, was using Marshall half-stacks.

Suhr PT100se Great Fender-ish clean, and modded Marshall crunch. Love it.

I like the PT100 matching 2x12 I have. The one thing I’d caution you about, is checking one out before you purchase one, to make certain the speakers in the 2x12 “work”(sonically/eq-wise) with your amp/s. My Suhr 2x12, to my ears, doesn’t work with my PT100. Go figure… The PT100 sounds much...

I have a Helios 100w. I love it. But, I run it on ‘70s mode. The ‘80s mode isn’t bad, it’s just too sizzly for my tastes.

Day 5 with the Desert Eagle. Aside from the Duncan ‘78 being a bit bright, there’s nothing about the guitar I don’t like.

Current favorites for the 7-string.

Randall Satan(120w version) I ran mine through a Recto 4x12 with V30s. Drop tuned 7 and 8 string guitars. Does modern metal tones to a “t” with no pedals needed.

Just got it. I’m digging it. Neck is definitely not a thin neck. Sorta reminds me of my Sunburst Tiger neck. Fret ends are nicely done. Fingerboard is super dark chocolate brown; there’s almost no pattern. The Duncan ‘78 is a hair bright. Not too much though. The neck single coil is actually ok...

No, it’s alder. My ESP Sunburst Lynch Tiger has a maple body. It weighs 10 lbs. 10 oz.
