I've had one of the newer Orange units since it was released as I do get the odd amp to cross my bench and now have a tube preamp.
It has worked great and has diagnosed a large number of bad tubes thus far for customers. I had the original unit for years but sold it with some other gear in...
I sold off a pile of really nice gear this year and really simplified it to the tone that I like most.
I have GAS for one more guitar but I am trying to resist with very little willpower......:p
I'm down to only 4 guitars that I rotate through live and really, really enjoy using all of them...
Love the Herbert! Love the VH-4, HATE the Einstein. Could not get rid of that one fast enough.
If you regret selling the VH-4, then you know what you have to do!
Like any of the other fractal units, it has to be some type of pedal calibration thing. Are you sure your expression pedal is functioning correctly? Man...I haven't seen an FX8 for like 5 years.

Had mine since they were released. Outstanding unit, sounds amazing and it has replaced all of my other stuff! It completely exceeded what I was hoping for. Using it with a VP4 and it is a perfect match together. I have the SLO plus pedal as well on my backup board for when I play live.
a picture of the back would pretty much be able to tell if it is a real one. As it stands here, it looks legit. The case is factory one that was out at that time before they switched to the SKB design.
The seller should really try and clean up the guitar a bit before posting it for sale. It...
I’m just happy to see another tube amp being made! This is one of those ones that I never had the pleasure to try. Be looking forward to trying out when they come in!
I've been running the EV-PXMs for almost a year and half now and haven't looked back. They sound great, have a lot of DSP options built into them and are easy to take around for live and rehearsals.
I use the newer schallers with the allen key bolt head. They work so well and are completely secure. I've not had one loosen up yet. It is so much easier to fit a thicker strap on them now.
Any and all of my EBMM guitars.
This one in particular just does something to me when playing. It is nothing short of incredible in feel and tone.
I use it live all of the time!
