You could try a Danelectro FAB Chorus. Cheap plastic housing but sounds great, and has a Mix/Blend control. Or a Visual Sound Liquid Chorus which has Width and Delay Time settings. Just crank it up for the Hair Metal Chorus Cheese.
My friends' band have released a new music video to promote their album, check it out!

(P.S. I'm not sure what amps they are using at this stage)
(EDIT: I posted the wrong video!)
I've come across a quartet of JJ 6L6s so will grab them in a week or so. Then hopefully I can get some clips up!
It's been ages since I've been able to crank this thing and set up the mic.
Today I pulled my Rockman Stereo Chorus/Delay out of storage and tested it out...damn I think it's broken :( . I tested it with another amp too and it was crackling, making a high-pitched whining noise, couldn't hear the chorusing or delay effect, distorting the signal. I bought it for about...
My amps have been in storage for almost two years, so I've barely got the chance to play them. They are now in a small room where I have moved to, so I get to play them more often. And I've noticed that the power amp of the MarkIV seems a bit lacking. The preamp valves are fine as I tested the...
I guess you could try an EQ pedal just after it to bring up the low end. If you use too much bass before the distortion, it gets muddy.
That is why a lot of guitarists now use overdrive pedals set 'clean' in front of big amps like the Dual Rectifier etc. to reduce some of the low end going into...
It's called the "Power of the Pussy". And it is real.
By the way, I find it a bit concerning to refer to a woman as "a female"... They are people, not objects, no matter how they may inspire you to behave.
I preferred A as it sounded "angrier", while "B" seemed a little hollow. If you want that scooped mid sound, then use the "A" cab and play around with the microphone positions.
I voted only two minutes or so into the video.
SPAX7 for the first preamp valve. Standard 12AX7s for the rest. Then a pair of 6L6s and EL34s for the power amp.
Preamp valves and 6L6s -> JJs.
EL34s- Svetlana EL34s.
Yeah that's truly. Basically a glorified overdone EQ. A dedicated EQ pedal, well any cheapy 7-band works better.
I admit I fell for the Sonic Maximiser hype a while ago... I could not get rid of that pedal. It really did become a doorstop and then I gave it to my cousin who plays...

I swear Steve was either drunk, high, or both during this video! Still cool though. I just love how he admits to the 'G.A.S.' syndrome and rants how (truly) pathetic it is and his advice about it. Then shows off all his equipment with all the "grease" on his effects...
