You could try a Danelectro FAB Chorus. Cheap plastic housing but sounds great, and has a Mix/Blend control. Or a Visual Sound Liquid Chorus which has Width and Delay Time settings. Just crank it up for the Hair Metal Chorus Cheese.

I guess you could try an EQ pedal just after it to bring up the low end. If you use too much bass before the distortion, it gets muddy. That is why a lot of guitarists now use overdrive pedals set 'clean' in front of big amps like the Dual Rectifier etc. to reduce some of the low end going into...

I think Malcolm playing a Tele may have worked for big clear ringing guitar sound, although it would get a bit twangy.

I preferred A as it sounded "angrier", while "B" seemed a little hollow. If you want that scooped mid sound, then use the "A" cab and play around with the microphone positions. I voted only two minutes or so into the video.
