    Torpedo Live at 44.1 kHz

Any chance of having that implemented on a future update? Besides making it much easier to record on older sessions that are at 44.1 it would be very nice even to play along to music which is being played from the computer. Cheers!

    Torpedo Live at 44.1 kHz

Any chance of having the Live running at 44.1 kHz when connected to a soundcard via spdif?

An alternative to the Duncan JB.

This might sound redundant but try a 35th anniversary JB or an antiquity, they have less gain and tighter low end. As for the mids they are a bit more focused than in the production JB. I have the 35th and the regular and the 35th sounds way more refined than the regular.

    Live, connectivity and arcade

Thanks for the clarification. I don't believe in cable voodoo :) so bought a 10€ converter and works wonders. Great piece of gear you guys made! I just miss the option to have the mics off axis, otherwise is spot on.

    Live, connectivity and arcade

Got the Live some days ago and I am very thrilled with it. Great piece of gear! I wonder what you recommend in order to connect the spdif coaxial of the Live to the optical toslink of an RME babyface for example. I would also like to have all the torpedo presets as simulation, is...

the FINAL word on the Kemper

I think the amp builders should get the same money as adobe and digital camera manufacturers paid the companies that made photo film when the first started to include emulations of photo film in photoshop and cameras etc. Lets not forget also the tons of audio plugins that are based on impulses...

Upgrading my Interface..I'd appreciate your thoughts

Presonus was not a nice experience for me. RME is what I use and am very happy with it. If you don't need a lot of inputs take a look at the crimson by SPL, it is great especially with all the controls at hand in that large panel.

    Torpedo Live vs Studio

Thanks for the explanation. I use the WOS since some years and am familiar with the variphi and overload features, and while I don't use these functions all the time, multi cab or multi mic I use almost always. Will have to think a bit

    Torpedo Live vs Studio

Am about to order one of these two. The live would fulfill my needs but am curious about the studio after watching the Steve Stevens vid. Are there some clips with a direct comparison between the two? Does the non-linear impulses of the studio translate in a much more realistic sound and depth...

    Marshall Silver Jubilee reissue

Sounds good there! Gain wise is what I would like to have, for high gain I have other amps. But in all the other videos on yt the sound of the reissue is thin with weak mids and with an unpleasant/fizzy high end. I wonder how much they tweaked mic position/eq in this video, would like to try one...

    Marshall Silver Jubilee reissue

I am thinking of buying one 'cause love its tone in Steve Morse, Bonamassa etc There was a huge hype before the amp was released but there is little about on in the web now. Can you guys share your experiences with this amp? Cheers!

My 2007 Vh4 sounds really dark

Dude it is a used amp! Are you trolling here? The amp's manufacturer actually took the time to try to help you by answering you and proposing a solution and you're still bitching? It has no top end = then there's something wrong with it right? Take it to a tech and fix it! Wtf??

    No.

Favorite guitar + Diezel amp combo?

I love any of my Les Pauls with the VH4. But now I'm using a lot a traditional plus and a custom both with Häussel pickups. I also like a lot these guitars with the Hagen.

Am I the only one who prefers CH4 over CH3 on the VH4?

I think I also prefer it over ch3. It does great blues rock sounds all the way up to metal. It has a bit more "attitude" to its midrange in a way.

    affordable Diezel

    Boss DD-20 giga delay - VH4.

Same here as above. I use a serial loop of the V and set the mix on the delay.
