    VH4 Master Volume

I am wondering how the VH4 owners in here usually have their master volumes for stage/rehearsal/recording etc. It sounds great at low volumes also but I've noticed that at higher master volumes especially ch 1 and 2 really shine, but the other guys start whining about too much volume. Is it...

    VH4 at Country/Blues/Rock

Thanks a lot guys! Even though I've played such things before I'm a newbie at recording this style. Micing the beast and getting the best sound out of it, mixing and above all singing   But really enjoying exploring new ground with this amazing amp. I wonder if any of you has...

    VH4 at Country/Blues/Rock

That's right and I'm loving it for that purpose. Was jamming with a friend and when we were done out of curiosity I plugged my VH4 into my friend's Fender extension cab. Threw a beta 58 at it and this early Steve Morse inspired riffage came out. Went home to finish the thing and threw my broken...

    Slash - Seymour Duncan - VH4 w/clip

Nice tone! Diezel amps with such type of pickups are great tone machines. Had a set of those in a LP Traditional and they sounded fantastic with the VH4

    VH4 preamp simulator?

Fortunately I own the real thing, vh4. And these days, between my guitar and vh4 only a cable is allowed :) I also thought that both the concept and sound quality of this pedal were too questionable for this to be a Diezel product. Using the logo is outrageous!

    Diezel Hagen solo sound settings

I used a Hagen a lot with Les Paul and Häussel 1959. Love the sound of this combo. I found that if one cranks the poweramp section the Hagen will sing like a Diva. Do you have to solo with ch 4? My preferred lead channel on the Hagen is the 3rd and the 4th is my higher gain rhythm - better...

    VH4 & home recording

The Koch has also a "non cab simulation" signal that you can take to your daw. That's the signal that I use for my recordings. I apply cab impulses in the DAW at a later stage. It makes for a very versatile way of recording imho. This is a test of the ch4 (everything is ch 4) of the VH4 with...

    VH4 & home recording

The Koch you mention is a great piece of gear. You can take the poweramp signal from the Koch and apply impulses later in the DAW. You will get much better tones than by taking the signal from the amp's preamp (fx send). Also the Koch does a great job in preserving a nice high end without the...

A very nice tool for the VH-4

I was considering buying this one some day to go with the VH4: http://www.sourceaudio.net/products/toolblox/programmable_eq.php One can store up to 4 programs and control it via midi. Do you guys have experience with it?

Diezel Shootout Cornford roadhouse 50w vs Hagen vs Dmoll

+1 That's one of my all time fav low gain Diezel tones. Did not mentioned it because I was referring to the current production models. Sold my Einstein and damn how I miss that tone...

Diezel Shootout Cornford roadhouse 50w vs Hagen vs Dmoll

Interesting video. I agree that the hagen has a great vintage kind of feel to it. For me the vh4 is nothing of what you describe. Maybe wrong pickups or eq? This is a vh4 in the vid below. IMHO the "bluesiest" Diezel of the range (not counting the Schmidt in) 0PTmxZBIfys

Tony McKenzie Diezel Hagen Review (VIDEO)

 Peter, it is a lost battle. There will always be reviews which give wrong information. People that misunderstand concepts and transmit their misunderstandings to the masses etc etc. And you can spent all of your time answering the same question and still, someone will ask it again...

    Dustcover for VH4

Many thanks!! The guys from the first link have all the Diezel line inclusive cabs, except the VH4... Ordered the one from ebay. Don't like the letters saying "custom" but those one can take care of later. Maybe Peter should start making patches with the Diezel logo? ^^

Fokker vs. D-Moll range of tones

Nice comparison! But I do see a mid cut engaged on the D Moll, thing that the modded Peavey doesn't have. So are these tones directly comparable?
