I have a set of Blackouts. But i didn't like them that much. Yes they were okay, but they just didn't have much tone to them, and yes i tried adjust my amp and EQ. But it didn't make a difference so now i got EMGs and i love em :)

I've listened to a lot of 5150s and i have to say that they slayyy :rock:

I found that it sounded too digital, if you know what i mean. Like its overdrive sounds like something out of a videogame.

Hmm, these all seem great. What i'm looking for is some new pups that have great "strat" cleans. But also have great attack when playing something overdriven.

I always liked the 5150 tone :thumbsup: Someday I myself hope to try, or hell, even have one :D

So they take overdrive nicely, and cleans are great too? :)

Anyone ever try out a set of these? :confused: I've been thinking about getting them for my strat. Apparently they have that "texas special" type tone with a little bit more of a kick for overdrive. Opinions?
