Bump Body is alder as well neck is maple, with rosewood fretboard. That any help?

Even though i am a big fan of OLD green day the new song on here doesn't sound too but nevertheless, I do find myself liking the good ol' stuff a lot more. :thumbsup:

I thought about putting d activators in my arbor les paul. After I get a new amp that is. The D-activators seemed really heavy when I looked them up on youtube. What you guys think? how do they work all around with most genres?
