Ryan, unfortunately it's hard to remove cigarette smell on gear. That is actually a deal breaker for me. I usually ask if it ws kept in a smoke free environment. I mean the smell sips through the frets and imbed itself. You might want to wipe the frets with lemon cleaner and air out the...
This man speaks the truth. I have tried both and still held on to my IIC+. At the end of the day, both are great amps and the crowd won't know the difference between the two. Whats important is you gave them a rocking performance.
Mike, you can't go wrong with either. If you can try both then do it. Having owned a VH4 and played both, I tend to lean towards the VH4.
Good luck on your continued quest for tone.
Thanks Jason!
I got it from a guy in MyLesPaul Forum. It was originally bought from Dave's guitars. It's a 2010 R8 that looks like a R9. Glad you like it!
I would definitely want try modded Marshalls specifically Fortin Cali and Friedman KS. But right now, boosting does it
for me. I have a Keeley modded TS9 and Lovepedal eternity that does the job and I'm happy with it. I guess i'm being
cheap.
Like everyone said, you can check out the ESP/LTD LP shaped guitar. You can buy a LTD eclipse for around $450-$550 nowadays.
Tokai, Burny and Epi comes to mind.
Would you be dealing Edwards guitar too? They have some killer LP's and Explorer for the Japanese market namely the
John Sykes LP and satin brown explorer.
