This man speaks the truth. I have tried both and still held on to my IIC+. At the end of the day, both are great amps and the crowd won't know the difference between the two. Whats important is you gave them a rocking performance. :thumbsup:

Mike, you can't go wrong with either. If you can try both then do it. Having owned a VH4 and played both, I tend to lean towards the VH4. Good luck on your continued quest for tone.

I would definitely want try modded Marshalls specifically Fortin Cali and Friedman KS. But right now, boosting does it for me. I have a Keeley modded TS9 and Lovepedal eternity that does the job and I'm happy with it. I guess i'm being cheap.

Like everyone said, you can check out the ESP/LTD LP shaped guitar. You can buy a LTD eclipse for around $450-$550 nowadays. Tokai, Burny and Epi comes to mind.
