Hi, to answer your question: You can use El 34, E34L, 6L6 or 6550s or Kt77 etc. pairwise, and have to rebias them. But you cannot mix them in the 50 Watt Einstein (what you could do with the 100). I tried different kind of tubes in my Einstein, but came back to the stock EL 34 all the time. Best ed
