Hi guys, these are both terrific amps (I own both) and are highly tweakable, obviously. It's of course impossible to make a blanket decision on what amp you'd prefer, from a clip like this one Alex did, because there's SO many variables. For those that want that BE thing, on the PT, my guess...

I dunno really, maybe like a bit if V30 and a bit of Greenback? It's got a crisp high end but not in a bad way- really makes cleans sparkle. If I was to use em with the SL68 I might be inclined to clip the bright cap on the amp. Maybe. But then again it's a new speaker and it'd smooth out like...

You're talking about a Rivera Rockcrusher Tecording! Plus you get switchable impedance, 8/16 ohm. Great piece of gear. The Boogie looks pretty cool for a simple load/speaker sim.

Ya i occasionally use a Bondi SickAs for a lead boost but just because it has a different character (great pedal). You won't need any pedals with this amp- I could easily do away with any and all OD's if I had to.
