Dave Friedman wired mine up, so I'm only 90% sure about this- but I'm pretty sure- you use the left in and out on the Mobius for the "pre" path (in front of your amp). And the right in and out for the "post" (in your amp's loop). I'm sure there's details on the Strymon site. Then, in every...
Well i sort of feel the same- it sounds so good that it's "good enough". And I mean that as a real compliment. For example, for the 1st time with any pedal other than the real thing, I was able to almost nail my EVH flanger sound (the sound you get with the EVH button pushed). Almost! Not exact...
Thanks! The Mission Volume is pretty interesting- it's buffered, so that's cool (no tone suck, even when driving a tuner). You can also use it before a fuzz to COUNTER a buffered circuit, and make the fuzz think it's seeing the (high impedance) guitar pickups- it has this switch in it to engage...
Thanks! No, the gain pedals, MXR Phase 90, comp, wah, volume, those are in front. the Mobius is both in front and in the amp loop. You can do that with it, and pick (per preset) where you want it to be, although you lose stereo when you do that. The H9's and delay are in the loop too. I go...
Made a bunch of changes to my board, Dave knocked it outta the park of course. I asked him to leave some slack in cables, because sometimes I switch stuff up- so that's MY fault, not his (usually he ties em TIGHT to keep it uber neat). I love this board! it's quiet and does ANYTHING I throw at...
It's pretty badass, honestly. Great low to mid gain drive, sounds extremely natural and organic, which is funny, because people love to hate on digital :)
I'll be uploading a vid I'm making if this and the DS-1X tomorrow.
Honestly, really cool pedals. Like the op says, they don't fall apart, even at higher gain settings, and are very tweakable.
Compared to an R9, it just feels and sounds more like what you want it to- a real deal 50's LP. I have a Yaron and a nice R9 as well, and have owned a real 50's LP Goldtop, and currently have a 1963 ES335, so this is what I'm basing my opinion on. My R9 is nice, my Yaron is a monster.
I'm actually not sure what he was using rig-wise, no idea! yes the long delay was coming from him. He was using 2 mic'd cabs, so i panned em out a bit and delayed one side like 10ms or so to give some width. I think it ended up sounding great!
Thought you Rig-Talkers that dig progressive heavy stuff might dig this, It's James Ivanyi at the Suhr NAMM party.. I mixed the audio for this, and it was a pleasure, as James and band really killed it and his music is really cool- cinematic is the word that comes to mind!

Got one a few days ago- it's incredible. Such a good sounding unit, as an attenuator (or technically, a load/reamp), as one would expect, because it's got the terrific load from Two Notes.
I haven't used the recording features yet... More to come....
