JJ are good enough for 5000€ amps so they will good for EVH. And there are more than one JJ preamp 12AX7's. In modern higain amps priority is low microphonics than anything else imho.

You don't find it pleasing but these are exact frequencies which works in a mix. GJo's video of MW vs Rev C shows it nicely. Mid forward is what You want, especially in a band mix. Rev C is pure collector's hype. Soundwise it doesn't sound not even one dollar better than MW.

Doesn't like the sound of these at all. Overpowering bass response, piercing high-end. Should work for half-deaf poeple or modeller lovers ? Friedman with V30/GB combo is much more pleasing sound, voice of rock.

But bass are bass and bite is in the upper spectrum. Those reffered Sneap tone is full of 5150s mids and those are strong mids. I bet my ass if I want example, it will be some sort of V-shaped Valvestate tone but I like to be suprised with the opossite :)

No, power from amp is split equally between 2 speakers (presume impedance the same on both). What should matter is efficiency of speakers (dB) and their frequency characteristics.

Great choices are LP Customs, Norlins, 90s Studios and 90s Classics. Slimmer necks, heavier bodies. Chambered or Modern weight relieves doesn't have tight enough bottom end. 498T or 500T. I have few 25,5'' superstrats which sound more robust than average Gibson LP. US Charvels are good example...
