had one, 2530 version, greenback on top, Marshall Vintage at bottom. It was really tigher than standard FB cab but also more musical, hard to explain. I think David Laboga makes or maked this style of cab.
You can't compare Marshall to Bogner or Mesa. The glued front panel makes a big difference. I have at least 5 BV cabs beside Bogner and they are usable but nowhere as good sounding.
Friedman is Bogner cab without bating.
It doesn't matter if it is acclimating in box or out of it. Room temperature is not volcano. If it is broken, well, it wasnt't 'hit' by temperature difference :) Classic TGP bullshit...
Some great sugestions here...best master volume is Naylor without any doubt and overall fits the OP requirement. Agree with Helios, great MV, loop, voicings options.
Loop for 2204/2203 is a must, just worth it for any tone sacrifice (which is none when the loop is done right).
Deliverance (with...
If You like 'feel' of the Bogner amps, there is no modeller/profiler to get You there.
In case of Kemper, You get one generic amp fell response and different sound textures. Nothing close to Blue XTC channel or Helios drive channel. If You take it like workhorse, they are close enough but if...
It is easy...there is none. I was hunting those 3-4 channel amps for years to have most versatile amp in the world but they always felt short if You compared them to 1-2 channel amps. None of them has clean channel of the old Fender amp, crunch of JCM800 and lead from SLO. Put side by side JVM...
In fact I played for few years and it was my first 'big' amp. As an European I had every Engl amp and preamp and still think Invader sound even more generic and bland than PB 1 :ROFLMAO:
Without playing guitar first it is impossible to give some reasonable sugestions. I had few Edwards and they were nothing like real Custom, it was more LTD EC1000 style. Thinner body, poly laquer and cheaper mahagony... But good sugestions are BKP's Rebel Yell, Miracle Man, Cold Sweat, Black...
Tremonti works really hard last few years...this Sinatra, his solo album and latest Alter Bridge album which is nothing but amazing. And still one of the best live and recorded sound I have heard last few years...
Congrats.
Agree on 'the most underated Bogner' amp and one of the best 'value for money' if we talk about 45W version. Fantastic clean channel, lush and dynamic. Gain channel start as great JTM/plexi in '69 mode to hotrodded JCM800 in 80's mode. Top notch reverb, footswichable FX loop...
65W Scumbacks...M's, BM's ? I have J75 and M75 in 2x12 and it has vintage voicing and modern power handling. No modern Celestion can touch Scumbacks. Heritage 20W is probably my favourite Celestion fyi.
