I switched my H2+ out for an H3 and like it much better. Keep in mind that Anderson pickups like to be lower than normal pickups. If you have them too close, they get harsh. My treble side is fairly low and the bass side slightly closer. Sounds pretty full
Don’t lazy out. Hoof that nice sounding rig to the gig and reward yourself and the crowd. I played Fri night and brought my Gower 1/2 stack, pedalboard, and a couple guitars and I’m 57. Always worth it
and Anderson pickups height settings are a little weird. They like to be a little further away. My H3 sounds right at 6/64s on the treble side and 5/64s on the bass side.
I have an H3 in my TA. Definitely not as hot as a JB or DD. I have those in other guitars. It most closely resembles. a PRS Tremonti which I also have. Very similar. It’s mid 14k and ceramic
