I have the Marshall 1960BHW Cab that is Suppsedly similar to the EVH cab. It's 16ohm & i'm considering replacing 2 speakers with the EVH Greenbacks on top & the G12H30 on the bottom.

I have a Marshall cab with the Heritage G12H30 & they are a bright speaker.

They made those for the year 1988.....It was a roll over amp from the original 1987 2550. The Black & Gold was the final revision of the Jubilee. There were 3 revisions.....even the 2555SL from 1996 was based off the black & gold that slash owned.

That's all i ever used with my Jubilee & it sounded great.

Yeah Trace had a way of sucking the balls out of every amp. Everyone i know that had their 5150 modded by him later sold it cause it sounded like shit.

I remember the original Guitarist in the Band Nonpoint used one of these back when they were called Nonpoint Factor & Billed themselves as a Christian Band. He used a DOD EQ in the loop, it didn't sound bad.
