$200 is cheap for what you get with Logic in comparison to other DAWs. You will have more control, and all of your Garageband sessions will import into Logic with no problems. I like Garageband too. If you don't truly need Logic right now, don't worry about picking it up until you outgrow GB.

JVMs can be modded to Fender preamp cleans, Plexi style OD, JCM 800 tones and modded 800 tones. You can make them sound and feel like a good old Marshall with a few component changes. Add a choke and negative feedback adjustment. There are a ton of mods for them.
I've had 2 blue stripes, and I've played a friend's red stripe. I still have a blue stripe. I love my blue stripe. It has a deep rounded low end with the kickass mids and highs the Mark Series is known for. Also, it can get real smooth when you lower the presence.
Yep! Very tasteful! There aren't too many people that I can sit and listen to that play lead the vast majority of the time, but I had no problem whatsoever there.
