I was just rockin' to Marino...................the dude can definitely jam!!
I think it is a close race though....here is my vote for Canadian produce:
That is the same thread I am talking about.
One of Cliff's retorts started something like this
"and you would be wrong again"
it had a graph to show Jay what he was missing. I had this vision of Jay reading Cliff's post.

I would be willing to guess that the little debate Cliff and Jay had over some very technical speaker science was what caused Jay to take his little red wagon and go home.
Cliff corrected Jay several times (or at least made the statement that Jay was wrong...whoever was wrong is beyond me)...
I think the Axe-Fx is appropriately priced..it might not cost 2000 to manufacture but with limited sales the only way to make a living is to make your product worthy of it's price tag which most owners think it is.
I do agree with the end of your post.
Get well Cliff
Very level answer...I assume it is sincere..
Speaking for myself...I am not pissed at you..I don't hate you..how could I ? you built my favorite piece of guitar gear I have ever owned(seriously)...I feel sorry you are in the place you are at...(although I wish I had the intellect to do what you...
mayonnaise is great...wait a minute...are you guys trying to get me to follow your thread derailment?
My .09 cents.
This is 100% Cliffs fault.
He has been down this road 2 times already. He has seen the impatient wanna be customer lined up waiting for the golden ticket to buy a precious...
You guys are right...
My post was a knee jerk response to what I had convinced myself wasn't going to happen. I just saw a wad of cash float out of my hand...
Fractal is an outstanding company...they make the best modelers hands down and they just raised the bar again. I don't know if...
Kinda lame move on Fractals part IMHO ....people who have supported them from nearly the beginning who can barely afford the Axe by itself get a immediate drop in value of the gear they bought which allowed Fractal to be what they are today without any heads up something new was coming.
boo
Cool wife!
Cool guitar...I have been eyeballing those for a couple months now.
Seem like a lot of guitar for the money...I think I will get the Blackouts though.
I don't know if you have considered Indie guitars. Although I have no idea if they are any good or not, I think they are nice looking and the price is inexpensive.
I remember hearing good things about them from NAMM 2009...IIRC.

I just threw 2 Vet 30's and 2 Vet 75's in my Splawn cab a couple days ago, but haven't tried it out yet.
I was surprised by the construction. I am planning on building myself some clones and they look VERY easy to duplicate.
I assumed the cab would have finger joints. I didn't know the corners...
I have only talked to Mark on the phone, and what is amazing to me is he was so laid back on the phone....he talked fast, but was in no rush to get rid of me. He talked about all sorts of stuff tone wise and I thought he was very cool from the impression I got over the phone.
I have never did...
