I got mine for 1100 new but I got a great deal. Used they are about 1000. I run and OCD + amp or Timmy + OCD+ amp.It totally kills. Amp alone-----not good enough. With the right good grade of pedal you can rock your a... off.

From what I can gather there is now a 100 watt 6L6 and a 50 watt EL34 both two channel Vipers. The clips I can find sound pretty darn good. Paul from guitar world does a domo of the 100 and it sounds good. Both channels have tons of gain albeir voiced differently. Has anyone here tried them...

I absolutely love mine. At low volumes it kills. The 5881 is the one. Fat Sound gets the EL34 one. Don't do it! The 5881 are made for this amp. Is the SLO not as dark. My Avenger is a tad dark. I love it though. It has made me consider getting a SLO.

Seriously considering putting the Rock model in an alder body rosewood board strat. I like old Angel, Starz, Robin Trower, Blackmore, Joe Perry etc type stuff. Should I get all three positions Rock or Rock bridge and blues or Vintage pluss in midle and neck? Thanks guys.
