Everyone I've read about at namm says it sounds just like the old ones. Seen interviews where mike says he likes the new ones better as it's got changes hes wanted to make forever. Sounds like the SLO will live on.

I dont sit around liste.ing to any you tube videos, but I do like when I google search a piece of equipment and find a good video of a co.parison. personally. I like andertons videos, they're cheesy. But they're english.. and they usually do have a pretty good representation of the gear...

Marshall super lead. But a jcm 800 works pretty awesome too. And if you need to drop the volume and get a really good clean you can use the low input plus pedals and it's pretty amazing.

I like the mythical overdrive a lot, and even if it's not exact I like the j rockett archer Rockaway pedal, can really make some pretty cool changes with it.

I cant use the thin fender picks, they flex and makes the timing off by a small amount, just enough to drive me crazy. Plus, they suck.

Hell yes. A lot of the time, the brightness of the 800 vs the jmp is the 6550 tubes instead of old el34 too.
