Also remember if you use/experiment with the solo boost on the Splawn footswitch, to set the Solo knob higher than the normal volume knob. Otherwise, just experiment until you find what works best for you. :dunno:

I think a certain amount of hum is normal. But for example my Dual Rectifier is much much noisier than my QR. My QR is pretty damn quiet. There are so many things that can contribute to hum as Jack is pointing out. And that hum can have a cumulative effect as well. I have spent countless...

My mod to C spec turned out great. I like it much better now. Tighter and less need for a boost now.
