If this post is to be believed, Soldano was always crazy inflated :)

And this video said the preamp will be ~$2500:
From the manual:
"One 8 ohm and two 4 ohm jacks are provided for speaker interfacing. The Badlander is not very sensitive to speaker mismatches and will not be damaged by them, except that very low impedance loads will cause the power tubes to wear faster."
"You can always have a higher...
The Eclipse can have, at most, two algorithms at the same time. Each algorithm may have multiple different effects within it that you can tweak. Here's a link to the algo manual: https://s3.amazonaws.com/com.eventide.downloads/Product+Manuals/Eclipse_Alogrithm.pdf
I wonder if anybody has said Ochanomizu yet? :) It's the easiest and most convenient place. But depending on where you're at in Tokyo, some others might be closer.

Also, I think a 60 in the bridge would be pretty bright. It has extended treble the 81 doesn't have.
If you're in the US, you could buy a bunch of these from Amazon and swap them out. Return what you don't like and keep what you like. EMG also lets you try these for 30 days, albeit minus...
They're more similar than they aren't. 57 has a little more bass, more dynamics. Extended bass and top end seems to push the input more than an 81 even though the 57 is supposed to be their "hot rodded PAF". 81 is a little tighter, little more cutting in the mids, and more focused.
Proper way is to unsolder the connections and use a vise or similar tool to make it nice and straight. Not always practical and takes time, though. You can try to do it on the chassis, but be careful you don't stress the chassis too much. Double-check all hardware to make sure it's secure after...
He mentioned it during the Tone Talk episode he was on, but he also wants to make a preamp to go with it. No ETA last I checked.
Would love to see it happen, though. The world desperately needs proper tube power amps. Too few companies are making them today. Who is making all tube stereo...
The LXII is a great unit and can punch well above its form factor. Biggest downside is the top-adjusted presence and depth controls, but Steve is kinda right - once you find where you like them, you don't usually tend to tweak them too much. Still, wish they were knobs on the front like his...
PBC6X is probably my favorite switcher out there. Feature packed, awesome desktop app, and their support service is better than about anyone else in the industry. I'll give you a rundown of what I do with my RJM PBC6X so you can kinda get an idea of workflow:

Quickly skimmed through and didn't see any gut shots of this. I might have missed it, but here are some gut shots of the new MXR RR Dist+ that are floating around. Apologies if these are reposted:
How different is this from a Strymon Dig? Overall, seems fairly similar with similar sounds. Even the same footprint roughly when you count side jacks versus top jacks.
