Needle nose pliers or even string snippers work fine for unstringing it. You're not tying a knot, just bending up the end of the string.

Adding to that, don't overdo the 90° bend on the thinner strings. 90° is just fine, and don't bend it back and forth if you didn't get it just right. I've had a number of strings break there because I bent it so much it weakened the string.

Not quite. The LXII has a "Linear" mode for using like you described, and an "Enhanced" mode for non-modeler use.

If you've been sending a 3-pin into your interface (after coming from a power supply box or something?), I'd stick the pad right before the interface input. So mic -> power supply -> pad -> interface input.

I think that's what the touring acts do. Saw that happen before. Or more accurately, heard wild sounds coming out of it until it was debugged before the next song.

I think PayPal keeps the fees. There was a kerfuffle over this when they started doing it, if I remember correctly.
