I mostly use DRs and Dunlops....Did just try some Veritas and like them...I've been meaning to try the Mangans as well. GHS is kinda the benchmark for decent strings..never been blown away by them...ditto for Ernies.

Always been a metal head, but I remember hearing these songs a milllllion times on the radio/mtv and tuning it out. Upon current review..definitely great voice and cool grooves...Had the right vibe going at that time for sure. I did really like the Power Station stuff though.

Love the riffing and guitar sound Ves!..but I hear something strange going on at about 1:12 in...almost like a brush on the snare..can't tell if it's an eq thing or reverb or combo of that..like a sshhhhhsh sound. Like the harmony stuff..lots of ear candy.

Almost sounds like he could back the pickups down a little from the strings...bet it would sound better. Low end a bit big and the highs rasp as RaceU noted.

Double edged sword...I can't blame a guy for trying to make a living, but I'm in the I'll let you know when I am looking for something camp.
