Yeah that's what I've always heard in Engl clips. Any experience with the Fireball 100? I think it's mostly down to those two. The Fireball or the Artist Edition.

One of the few high-gain amp brands I've never tried. Tell me what you know. I prefer amps with fewer knobs/switches/channels. Maybe that's why I've stayed away. But their current Artist Edition models seem more approachable. And this doesn't sound half bad. I see an older version of this amp...

Dammmmmn. I've got two Super-Hi 50s at the moment and was willing to part with one. Price for those went up to $5,100

Looks like Hiwatt just raised the price of these to $5,100... And the Chinese production version is listed at $2,300.

I would suggest not going with the heaviest gauge possible lol. It's a pain to solder to the tabs and it's unnecessary. 14 AWG is fine. Hell, 16 works great too. What gauge is the amp-to-cab cable? Anything thicker than that isn't needed.

It's been on their website for a long time. First it said early 2025. Then it said Q2. Then it said Q3. Now it says nothing. They originally announced the production version a few YEARS ago. Anyway... doesn't really matter. If you want the hand-wired version, here it is :)
