Heil pr30 is awesome to pair with a 57. That's my standard set up. The pr30 is darker and fuller than the 57 and really works with it

Don't have a JP2C but have owned a V and now a VII, I can say that I feel the VII is a massive improvement over the v and a absolutely fantastic amp. I prefer it over the mark III+ red stripe that I had owned.
