I haven't heard/read anything that mentions his experience. But yeah, considering his dad was law enforcement for many years, I wouldn't put it past him.
After this tragedy with Charlie Kirk, I've seen a lot of people here and elsewhere claim you have to be a "pro" operator in order to make a 200-yard shot on a torso/head/neck type of target. I think the data shows Charlie Kirk was hit with a shot from around ~140 yards. I hope I'm not being...
At this point, my money is this Skye Valadez character, whose social media accounts have been scrubbed. But they certainly look a lot like the person in the FBI photos. And their FB account was fucking WEIRD when I saw it.
Doesn't add up to me. There is no sign of a rifle. He isn't carrying one. He doesn't drop one. He doesn't throw one down to the grass. And he definitely doesn't have a rifle half the length of his body tucked down a pant leg. MAYBE he broke the rifle down to just a barreled action and stock and...
Neighborhood security footage of the person of interest was released. Shows him limping down a residential street and through someone's backyard. Limping either because he has the rifle stashed down a pant leg (unlikely) or because he hurt himself jumping down from the roof after the shot.
Spot on.
It's within point blank range for a 30-06, which ends around 300 yards. So it's not like shooter even needed to adjust for drop. If the rifle was zeroed properly, just put the reticle on target and squeeze. People who don't know anything about firearms really need to do some research...
Just watched a briefing. FBI is saying they have been able to track the shooter's movements, both before and after the shooting. And have clear photo/video of the individual but are waiting to release more info to the press.
I'm seeing some posts saying they identified the person of interest in the photos as a Skye Valadez. FB profile is quite sketchy.
Whoops. Looks like the profile was just scrubbed. But I grabbed these photos.
