Nice. Nothing wrong with more tools in the toolbox. You will find a use for it and get it dialed in.
Not a Mesa guy typically but I have a Triple Recto that gets used once in a while….and even a Fender Concert II that is basically a Mark II copy.
I voted equally important, but it really depends on what I am looking for at the time. My preference is flatter radius, scale length is more up to what sound I am looking for.
We do a wide range of stuff. Rhythm: Some is just amp, guitar and volume knob. Funk stuff some Phase 90. 80’s stuff Boss DC2, Flanger and some delay. Modern stuff DC2 and a TS 9 I modded a long time ago.
For leads, either just amp, amp with TS9, amp with TS9 DC2 amd some delay.
But...
I have the Tonex One and use the software in the computer. Normally for practicing I plug my guitar into the blackstar Polar 2 interface and use the Tonex software. There are a few different presets I use. Sounds really good surprisingly.
Have not tried the pedal thru a rig yet.
My first Wizard was one of these. Bought in the early 2000’s and had Rick go thru it and do some mods. Wonder what the serial number is?
Pull boost on the bass and a pull gain boost added on the lead channel and tube buffered fx loop.
Similar gain to my MC1, brighter. Much more Marshall...
