H9 is a chameleon and can be had dirt cheap now the h90 is out. It has world class reverbs and delays and can be switched to use which ever one you want.

Mine came in, pretty solid unit. No issues with WIFI, but the snapshots aren't doing what I think they should. The biggest problem I have is when I load IRs through the WIFI connection and windows app, the unit won't boot the next time until i format the card. Really odd. It really isn't...

Those videos Blake did had the master way up, and the 6v6s squished pretty good. He was running into a load box and then an IR. That’s unuseably loud anywhere other than an arena. In real life it isn’t that compressed because the master isn’t almost topped out.

You absolutely don’t need a pedal for gain with the GF. The guy that made this video has a series of them. Really shows off the amp.

The clean does well with pedals. It’s a very full sound, think like a two rock or something. Not a super scooped blackface. 70s mode on the red channel is such a good Marshall with bogner flavor adjustable as desired. The gain eq knob takes it from upper mid classic Marshall to lower mid...

Goldfinger Superlead. Best clean channel in a bogner, low to mid gain Marshall tones with some upper mid punch, and an option to use diode clipping to get all the 80s tones you could want. Add in a great loop, configurable boost for each channel, and a half power switch.

I just got an Era 30, kind of a modernized matchless C30. Great amp, made in America hand wired, etc. glad to support them with $ to keep making amps in the U.S.

The micro cortex is better in my opinion, but the stomp is cool. Had both at the same time for a while. The capture tech and online library made for better core amp tones.
