    Yeah, but honestly why?

No, he's not lying, just giving his own "alternate" truth or just embellishing the story if you prefer. He was "involved"... Maybe "at a later stage"... Maybe he suggested something but it sadly wasn't taken in account because the whole thing was already totally finished and in full production...

    Yeah, but honestly why?

The amp was already in design stage long before he was fired by Mesa. I don't think he was a consultant for the design of this amp. I don't think he was involved in any way regarding the amp, apart maybe with the marketing department recently. His videos can be ignored altogether. No big deal.

Designing a Brand New Effects Loop! Let me Know your Wishlist!

OK I get it ! Just an additional inline insert for the gate is needed in the loop before the parallel part. That's exactly what I do ! I have an AMT noise gate in line just before the loop interface.

Designing a Brand New Effects Loop! Let me Know your Wishlist!

I prefer to add an iso transformer going to the key of the gate rather than messing with the tone of the loop.

Designing a Brand New Effects Loop! Let me Know your Wishlist!

The perfect loop already exists, it is this device : It is a parallel loop with kill dry, bypass function and send/return levels. It can handle pedal levels as well as rack gear. Put this in an amp and it will be perfect.

Thanks a lot for posting this incredible performance ! OMG, what a deep groove !! I hadn't realized Ray Parker Jr was such a genius guitarist... I thought he was just the Ghostbuster one hit wonder... I didn't even know he played guitar... After listening to the video, I looked around and...

How to improve low end in studio??

You need to do some measurements with REW and a ref mic and go from there.

    Mesa/Boogie 90s Dual Rectifier - Official trailer

No need to recap. I have several amps from early 80s and late 70s with all original caps. They work and sound great.

Still Holds Up - Gojira - The Link Alive

I discovered them on that tour, in Paris. They were opening for Scarve, another great french technical death-metal band from that time (with Dirk Verbeuren on drums, who later played with Soilwork, Devin Townsend and Megadeth !!). To tell the truth, they blew Scarve away. So powerful. It...
