Great live band Way back, I interviewed Ty when he released his solo CD. Cool dude Was also supposed to interview dUg, but he never picked up or called back They’ve always killed it when I saw them live (4 or 5x)

His solo releases, Bad Moon Rising, Lion, Live with Dio in NYC.. he's a beast. I haven't really followed his Dead Daisies stuff, and didn't love his tone with Whitesnake. He's also gotten more "noodly" with his playing, vs the Lion stuff which seemed more composed - melodic, yet tasteful...

I don't think his playing was ever the same after the car accident in 87.. though that is a helluva comeback in 88! Even his tone & level of gain seemed to change (to my ears at least)

They are solid guitars, and have the great feeling Charvel neck. The trems are not the best

He could easily pull it off, but I think he'd overplay and want a bit of the spotlight... not do it as a respectful tribute. Just my 0.02
