I have read on ways to measure if there s any coupling DC cap leak.. is to measure each power tube grid pins on the output tubes... I probably think I also wind down the volume and measure all signal path on the preamp side... I guess that should be able to tell huh... Switching the meter on...

Fizzy??.... Wizard amp is most organic and its volume need to open up to a sweet spot... It's a pretty bright aggressive amp .. but many will say tune with ya ears not ya eyes...

Volume cut out? Perhaps it's running too hot and too high of a bias? Or check all ya node supplies those AC caps? I have no good tech here and I don't trust my bogner on them... Shipping back to USA be too costly..I perhaps wanna try spotting those DC coupling caps and change them at a go...

just didnt notice such things when i got it... but i been having fun with this amp and till i switched from clean to red via the front panel without Footswitch... and it pops... tested both clean to blue and clean to red too... and same goes with those EQ pops as i wonder any XTC users here...

Yeah... The MC2 wizard are voiced high aggressively on da mids... The preamp tubes used and came stock are JJs ecc803 I believe.. and it smoothens the ear piercing tone with the lead bright kept at low settings... Perhaps speakers and pickups also plays an important part to voice out the high...

Was lucky enough to have somebody here sold me his xtc it's an earlier with forementioned MM iron... I removed a C40 or 45 can't remember the cap was muffling much of the xtc and it came more open and highs without the "blanket" ...I still thought so the xtc anniversary sound better with more 3D...

Yeah... Many good reviews on their new speakers... Fanes... I been on a speaker hunt too... I need something tight like p50es and flat eq... With very clean fizzyless tone.... Any good recommendation?
