best bang for the buck USB audio interface?

I have liked the cheaper Presonus stuff. Many of the other small interfaces don't have MIDI In/Out, which is mandatory for me.

What is your favorite chorus pedal that can do 100% Wet and 0% Dry?

The Julia is basically a modded Boss CE-2, that gives more tweaking options to the base tone.

What is your favorite chorus pedal that can do 100% Wet and 0% Dry?

Its pretty cool. You can plug it into the computer and change all kinds of settings. 0% to 100% mix, and you can set it if you want true stereo, dual mono, etc.. and true or buffered bypass. You can also load in sounds from their Flanger and Phaser pedals in the series.

Any Aion Tesseract boost (TC preamp clone) DIY project here?

I would imagine the basic EQ portion would be close on all of them. It is a pretty simple circuit. Many of the modern takes use a TL071 or TL072 instead of the 741 which was in the original since the 741 was much noisier than newer chips. I think one of the original transistors is obsolete now...

Any Aion Tesseract boost (TC preamp clone) DIY project here?

I did the Chugga Pre years ago, and the Isoceles last year with the TCPre, 33, and Grind modes. I don't have the Aion version, but I have built several things from them, and their boards are solid. Out of the 2 I have, I think the Isosceles is better.

You can choose one boost pedal only

Hard to pick just one. I build a lot of my own pedals, so I would probably say my VFE Ice Scream Clone, Buxon Boost Clone, or BYOC Green Pony (Maxon OD 820 Clone).

Boss Blues Driver - Why am I liking this so much?

The BD-2 is a JFET based pedal, instead of an Op-Amp based pedal like most Tubescreamers. This gives it a different sound and feel. IMO, JFET based drive pedals tend to sound better when used alone into a clean sound than Op-Amp only pedals. I don't know why, but after building many, I tend to...

    Sweetwater Visit

Looks like they have remodeled a bit since last year when I was there. More different guitar walls than what they used to have.

    Everybody must be broke?

Everyone bought up everything they wanted last year when things were selling like crazy. Not to mention the crazy prices now. I have been buying tons of parts and such to make tons of pedals myself, but haven't bought anything commercial in awhile.

Anyone have a Way Huge Rhino pedal? Better than a TS9?

The CBAOD is kinda similar, but I find it thinner overall. It kind of feels flat next to the Rhino. One thing I love about the Rhino is the feel. It has kind of a weird squishy feel to it many TS's dont have,

Anyone have a Way Huge Rhino pedal? Better than a TS9?

I have always only had the II, but I know many people think the II is the best sounding one. I know the IV they removed the 100hz control, which is one of the best parts. The V was suppose to being back more of the II sound.

Anyone have a Way Huge Rhino pedal? Better than a TS9?

The Green Rhino Mk II is one of my favorite boosts. I have an original, and built a clone just so I have a backup, lol. The 100hz control really lets you dial in the low end, and the tone and curve controls can go from dark and smooth to bright and clanky. It kind of covers the TS spectrum, but...

    Seymour Duncan Invader Trash?

I like the Invader, but it has to be in the right guitar, and it helps to lower it more than typical pickups. It has a lot of mids which makes it sound like using a Tubescreamer boost all the time.

    buy a 2nd G-major 2.. or Rocktron Replifex/G-major 1?

The Axe-FX II that I have is much more transparent than the MPX-1. It is very vanilla I would say. It sounds great, but doesn't have that old school character to it. You could probably dial in some of that by using EQs, compressors, and drive blocks just on the effects, but I have never tried...

Whoever said the amazon basics drive pedal was good…

I think it was proven those Amazon pedals were made by NUX.
