Synergy Module Appreciation Thread - Including MTS, Egnater & Custom Modules

I got my Salvation Mods MatchVox2 in the mail today! Yes, his communication wasn't great, and it did take a bit longer than he originally estimated, but I got it in a reasonable amount of time and it does meet my needs tonally. My plan is to use the MatchVox2 for my not very clean "clean" tone...

I emailed them (email in their contact page), and I'm not providing a donor module. I suspect they accept orders without a donor module if they have any available in their shop. The first time I emailed requesting info I got no response for quite some time, then I emailed again and got an...

I'm a big fan of the Synergy line with my Syn2, Syn5050 and modules: Dirty Shirly, Deliverance, SLO, Ecstasy, BMAN, Morgan AC. Down the line I'd like to get the TDLX and maybe a Salvation Mods MatchVox.

RockTober drum jam -> Synergy Syn1 + Fryette Deliverance into a PS100 into a Suhr Reactive Load (vid)

You can use the PS100 amp into its own load, eliminating the need for the Suhr reactive load.

Instrument tone controls: yay or nay?

I think context matters. I expect my opinion to vary depending on the guitar and/or pickup. I have a couple tele's with the tone knob you can bypass. Sometimes I use it bypassed, sometimes not, depending of the situation.

Metallica ...Creeping Death... Now that's more like it.

I'm a Metallica fan, not quite a fanboy, and have a lot of respect for that band for what they've accomplished. IMHO they never sold out (except for all the sold out shows... haha!) but instead had the balls to change, and in the process changed the rock landscape for what I consider to be the...

Metallica ...Creeping Death... Now that's more like it.

I think Metallica sounds great today in contrast to what most of you guys are saying. I think you guys are mistaking your personal preferences for good versus bad. Same for those who think Metallica went down hill after Cliff died, or since the Black Album, or whatever.
