During the process of retubing my Herbert, I came across a blown 500ma on the outer tube pair. The tubes in that pair were 6550s (now KT77s). What speakers came stock in the JCM800 cabs? I've read that it could be G12-65s, G12M70s or G12T75s. There's a guy selling one locally and he has no idea what's in it and I'm wondering if it's worth going over and taking the back off.

I found an early 80s Marshall 1982a cab locally that's loaded with G12-80s. It's beat to hell and I'm trying to find out what a fair price on it is. Anybody have any idea what they're worth? Correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is these aren't all that valuable or collectible.

I'm finding the pair of Reaper HPs I have are slowly becoming my go to speaker with my Herbert. I'm thinking about buying another pair and I'm wondering if it's worth it to spend more on Weber 1230s or Scumback H55s instead. Anybody A/B them or try them all and care to offer any insight?

My Herbert only has 5 pin midi jacks on it. Is this normal? I've been looking for a new midi controller and many need a 7pin cable for phantom power, so I'm thinking this is going to be an issue. Serial # 001/081 if it matters. Thanks.
