I am getting ready to solder up an HSS pickguard using a Dimarzio AT-1, Cruiser, and Pro Track. The Dimarzio diagram shows the tone cap soldered to the right lug of the tone pot (Dimarzio EP1201 pot) while the Seymour Duncan diagrams show the tone cap is soldered to the middle lug of the tone...
I recently picked up a pine strat body so I put this together with parts I had. I think it turned out great.
You can see in one of the pics that I added some Wago connectors and a grounding lug so I can change pickguards without soldering.
Here are the specs:

Includes original box and owners manual. Also has an AC adapter that I'm not sure if it is the original or not but it works fine and is in spec standards. I was...
Has anyone heard of this Canadian pedal maker Gub Tech? They make some interesting pedals. Some appear to me as clones.
Their GUUL noise gate seems to be a Zuul clone. The graphics may be a love or hate thing but the prices don't seem too bad.
I've been considering trying a new gate, been...
For your consideration, this body reliced by Chubtone.
It looks to me like a faded seafoam green with some cool discoloration where a standard pickguard would be.
Body with trem, pickup, and guard as shown in picture weighs 4.3 pounds according to my bathroom scale.
Neck pocket fits standard...
Both good condition and work as new.
Decimator $75 shipped
Metal Master $45 shipped
Both for $90 shipped
Also could possibly trade for pickups or other pedals. I like pickups like Dimarzio Super Distortion, Suhr SSH+ and Aldrich.
I was hoping some Fluence users could answer a question for me.
I want to know if I can direct swap a Fluence for an EMG without grounding issues. I have a HSS EMG Strat type guitar and think I'd like to try a Fluence in the bridge. I really like the neck and mid positions and want to keep them...
I am starting this thread because of recent issues I have had with Floyd Rose parts.
I recently got a Floyd equipped guitar that had a terrible sitar type buzz on the open high E string. I confirmed neck relief and string action over first fret were in an acceptable range. I felt it had to be...
I had my JP2C out of the head-shell today as I was checking out some preamp tubes and just wanted to look inside. Sorry for massive pic size and I did not realize top pic was blurry until blown up.
For your viewing pleasure, here is what I saw:
Looking for a Boss NS-2.
I have this stuff to trade. If you have a NS-2 and any of this stuff interests you, give me a pm. I am really just looking for trades but if classified police insist on price you can buy the lot for $5,000. Price negotiable. Pics available if needed.

So, I just got a great new amp, the Mesa JP2c. I currently own three cabs. They include a 16 ohm 4x12, a 16 ohm 2x12, and an 8 ohm Thiele 1x12.
According to Mesa manual if I have an 8 ohm parallel box I can play all of my cabs at once or both 16 ohm cabs. I'd love to try this.
I know nothing...
I use a Weber Bias Rite to bias my amp so the tubes sit too high to balance amp on transformers. I probably would feel too nervous about that anyway.
So, I was going to bias up today and thought I would use this combo stand I happened to have. Worked out great. I do have to crouch down to get...
Tele parts lot for your consideration. $50 shipped conus. Parts include:

2. Pickups, neck and bridge from same Highway 1 Tele.
3. Pots and switch from same Tele. Appears to be an Oakes Grisby switch
4. Bridge with saddles from 2008 Hwy 1 Tele

I am considering purchasing a quad of EL34 to try in my D-Moll.
I am looking for a sharper attack and more aggressive mid character. Sometimes I feel things are a bit too smooth.
Would EL34 tubes do this for me?
Can they handle the D-Moll plate voltage? 480 as I recall from last bias...
So, I bought a Surf Green Strat made from USACG parts. Love the roasted maple neck. Cool guitar but, I'm not really a single coil in the bridge guy. So I decided to route it for a humbucker.
I did most of the routing with a drill press and forstener bit then smoothed it out with my Dremel. Then...

Seymour Duncan loaded Strat guard has pick scratches typical of pickguard. Knobs are scratched on top as if someone attempted relic job. So, you may want to change knobs or maybe you will like them. Color looks like parchment to my eyes.
I did not desolder wires from jack. As you can see...
Would like to trade my Diezel D-Moll.
Very clean, no dents, dings, or rips. Works 100% perfect. Original owner. Never left my house.
Great amp but want to try something new. Really have wanted to try a JP2c since they came out so, that is my first choice. Interested in KSR also. Amps must...
So, I have a Fryette D412. I would like it to be tighter.
Looking inside, the only bracing on the inside is a horizontal wooden brace in the center of the front baffle.
When playing I placed my hand on the back of the cab and it resonates like crazy. I am considering a brace similar to the...
