Looking at getting a 20th Shiva. There's a used 6L6 version a few hours from me. What's your thoughts on the 6L6 version vs the KT88 or EL34. Love having a sparkly clean channel, I'm thinking the 6L6 would be better but how's the OD channel with 6L6's? Not much for demos online for the 6L6.

What transformers does Dave use? I have an older Dirty Shirley someone wants to buy but they are curious about the trannies. I'm pretty sure Dave uses Classic Tone without a label but not 100%.

How’s the clean channel? It’s a 100 watt so I’m thinking it will have more headroom and sound even cleaner at lower volumes. I’m working a trade for my Dirty Shirley. The DS is awesome and I get a great chimey clean with the guitar volume rolled down, I’m assuming the Helios does that too.

I have a blue stripe Mark III that has a hissing noise coming from the master volume/power section. Gets louder and louder as you turn it up. I’ve tried different power tubes still does it. Any clue what is going on? It was serviced and modded by Boogie last fall.

So my Smallbox got alot of ground noise on the BE channel out of no where. It was dang near dead silent when I first got it. I'm thinking it's a bad preamp tube? Trying to trouble shoot so what slots are for the BE channel?

Can I use my Einstein into a 4x10 cab? I don't think there would be any issue as long as the cab and head ohms match up.
