You want Oakland `81 😉 I was fortunate to be in that audience on June 12th and it was a concert I will never forget , my fave out of the hundreds I`ve seen over the last 45 yrs.

I dig those albums too no doubt but I think the first album that sounded really good production wise was Powerage and even then I think R&R Daminaton and especially Riff Riff come across more powerful on the live album . The stuff from LTBR and High Voltage is miles better in every way than the...

Great tones on The Ultimate Sin but I wouldn’t call it ahead of its time

The guy that did those clips , isn’t he a member here ? Find out what he’s using lol . I’m using the Duncan RTM and Jalen Fair Waring at the moment. The RTM could probably cop those tones with the right amp , the FW is brighter

Just got a Boss GE7 to run in the loop of my EL34 Super Sport. So far so good cutting some lows , cutting some midrange honk and boosting the highs. I also cranked the volume loop pot on the SS and now using the level slider on the GE7 to tame the volume a bit but it’s still nice and loud
