Damn dude it’s been a minute that I couldn’t actually afford something I wanted to buy lol….for whatever reason I thought this was your Mig and clicked it. Gat damn, I hope you get that!
Man I just chucked 90 mins at this thing. There’s nothing it can’t do. It’s not IMMEDIATELY GREAT like my Caparisons are but there were no wrong notes, no riffs that went wrong, nothing. It’s just a seriously good guitar.
Mostly for me is the radius and nut width; the neck on the Suhr is 1.65” and my Caps are 1.625. Doesn’t sound like a lot but I can feel it.
Also the main two Caps have vintage sized SS frets and I really dig em. These are medium and work but I’d rather have smaller frets.
Hey bro, been a while. What’s your main guitar? Mine is a Caparison MM, 2 of them actually and the closest I’ve come to another neck shape to describe that one is a Jackson lol
This isn’t that. It’s very comfortable, little thicker than my LPs that both have 60s necks and thicker than my ESPs...
Was looking around for another superstrat for different tunings and Suhr hit my radar.
I first discovered them years ago on this very forum, thinking at 30 whatever years old I’d never be able to afford them, much less pay that for a guitar.
Turns out I can and I’ve paid way more for other...
So a buddy of mine hit me up maybe 10(?) years ago about one of these, I scrambled around and found out they were brought in by an American company from Japan in the 70’s…there were priced around $800 back then and would be right around $4k now.
His was and is one of the best guitars I’ve ever...
Man Ch 1 with the gain is sick.
I’ve heard a bunch of reviews/playing of this amp and that’s the best it’s sounded.
I still don’t think there’s anything here I can’t get with my Orange/Marshall/Diezel but this is different and badass.
Nice work sir!
Other people have more experience here but I’ve been complimented, so here you go.
A good place to start is eq to keep everything separate. Start with using a HPF on everything. Set it about 30-35hz on the bass. About 45hz on drums, and between 80-100hz on guitars. That should separate...
Only one I miss selling was an FJA modded Single Rec.
Gat damn that thing was badass. Tried to buy it back a few years ago and dude was emphatic with the NO.
Don’t even. Spend $160 and get Toontrack’s EZBass.
It has a thing where you can run a direct track from your guitar, drop it in and it’ll transpose it to bass.
Easiest thing I’ve ever used for bass; there are numerous basses and pick attacks, and you can add/subtract notes as MIDI in your DAW...
