You should check the TMP's manual: if it can send Program Changes, it should be able to control the Herbert.

That's right, you'd need 16 Ohms speakers. However if I'm not mistaken the G12K-100 is 8 Ohms only.

Another vote for the Het Set, with the volume pots set around 3/4. That's really the sweet spot for me.

If your amp has a 16 ohm output to match your 16 ohm cabs, then yes, the 16 ohm Captor X is the one to go. What do you want to use the Captor X for then? Attenuation only? It works quite well as an attenuator, but there may be other less expensive solutions I guess... In a W/D/W setup your amp...
