The resistor is definitely from the loop board. Look for the gap marked with R2 on the loop board. And there should be the resistor. Direct next to the brown capacitor on the up per lebt side. With a desolder pump and a soldering Iron it's done within five minutes.

Sorry guys but that is the Metro/Friedman FX Loop. I had almost every friedman in the last years and all of them had popping issues with true bypass pedals. Hang in a relay pedal like Strymon stuff or buffered pedals and your fx loop problems are gone. . . Soundwise the best amps on the market...

Ok?!? You dial the loop to unity volume... And then you only use your front master? Interesting. I always thought the back volume is your global master and the front should be Set to 5.

I also really like the Archer stuff. The silver one is more special, the gold one is more open and clean. Both really great pedals for any music style or amp.
