I went through the same thing back in 2012 (maybe 13: Can't remember) when I sent my amp to Dave. It was around the time the BE100 was starting to take off and we all had GAS hard lol.
In the end it was worth it. And he was a complete gentleman. Even threw in some extra mods at no cost because...
I've been out of the amp game for a hot minute but I'm totally ready to drink the Kool Aid on this one.
I know the Jose mods varied, but if this is anything like Steve Vai's Jose, I'm all in.
Hey what's up guys? I'm listing a couple of things that are growing cobwebs in my closet and I'm open to offers.
1. TAD Bias Master $150 (OBO) SOLD
-Used a handful of times and in damn near mint condition. The pics show me cycling through all 4 modes trying to show that all four sockets are...
Bought last year and not really my thing. Would work really well in a darker sounding Les Paul or if needing a p/u that cuts through the mix.
-Bridge
-Single Conductor
-Long Leg
-A2 Magnet
-Aged Bobbins (White)
-50mm Spacing
$70 Shipped OBO
It's a Mark IIC+
IMO, it comes pretty damn close for a modeler. The only tweaks I did were to the Presence/Depth and the 5 Band preset to work it around my guitar/pickups.
Here's the preset:

My very first LP was 2000 Classic and I was so in love with the skinny neck.
The older I get though, I really dig 50s style necks more. So anything with a fat neck to be honest
I found a pretty solid Sykes inspired patch by Leon Todd for the AX8 so I wanted to relearn some Blue Murder/Whitesnake riffs.
I messed around yesterday and learned the String accompaniment under the clean harmonic part in 'Still Of The Night'.
A little sloppy but I'm having fun with it!
Enjoy!
Dude, I had GAS before I even knew what that was.
I opened a Guitar World magazine (around the Acousti-Strat period) one day because Slash was the story for that month and here he is sitting in the middle of about 100 vintage Les Paul's.
I'm like; wow someday that'll be me.
Then I decided...
I really, really wanted an acoustic. And in my infinite wisdom at 15 YO, I decided this was the way.
I think I discovered weight relieving before Gibson made it cool :ROFLMAO:
