If you don't mind waiting for it order a Chubtone. He will build you what you want. Very old school Charvel feel and quality for under 2K. If you need something sooner that EVH relic for $2K is pretty good but it is ai bit high in price for what you get. The Chubtone is a much better deal...

Just the bridge one is modeled after eddie's "damaged" JB. The neck p'u was modeled after the Custom-custom which was in the neck spot of Ed;'s EBMM prototype when dimarzio was hired to make the pu's for his sig guitar.,

Yeah basically because years ago duncan used RC mags in them. they have a different tone/feel than a new polished magnet.

I will wait until i hear one before even commenting on the tone of the amp but as for what i do know they are aiming at players that Can/could not afford the standard 5150III. The Duncan demartini is based on the JB-J warren used in his Charvels but he had seymour wind it more to his tastes with more output(it is 18K not 16K like a regualr JB) and the highs are softer. Yeah you definitely read it wrong. The Custom-custom was in the neck only of one of the EBMM evh guitars and a damaged JB in the bridge. The pu's that wound up being the ones that went into Ed's EBMM sig guitar and the EBMM axis guitars modeled from the Duncan CC and that damaged JB. Did...

lol I use a Katana for at home practice and want one of these with a 1x12 celestion cab to replace it. from the available vids the tone is better overall than the Katana's. I am definitely buying one but i think i will wait for one to show up in the classifieds.
